In the wake of Vanessa Hudgens’ interview where she confessed to being mean while they were in a relationship, Zac Efron posted a selfie of his Mexican getaway with girlfriend Sami Miro.
The Instagram selfie showed the couple wearing matching tank tops.
It was captioned, “Viva Mexico!”
“Sami ditched the cosmetics to let her blemish-free face breathe, but added a little glam with two choker necklaces, said Daily Mail.
The selfie seemed the perfect response to Vanessa Hudgens’ interview with the New York Times where she admitted to contributing to the breakup between her and ex Zac Efron.
“I went through a phase when I was really mean because I was so fed up.
Girls were running after him, and I was giving them death stares.
Then I realized that’s not what that’s about.
‘Spread the love, be a good person, they support you, be nice,'” she said.
Vanessa Hudgens has moved on to Austin Butler, who helped her get back to her Catholic roots.
Meanwhile, in an interview with Elle , the actor’s current girlfriend Sami Miro weighed in on dating a famous celebrity like Zac Efron.
“I’ve never spoken about us before, but, um, it’s definitely different.
I think that you have to take that [kind of attention] with a grain of salt, and put yourself in other people’s positions,” Sami Miro said.
“I think that’s actually a really big part of it, putting yourself in their shoes, and trying to understand where they’re coming from, and then it kinds of makes sense.” Sami Miro said that being hounded by paparazzi “just comes with the territory” of dating Zac Efron.
“I know there’s no really changing that, so you have to just embrace it…I’m not trying to hide anything in my life.
If I was dating someone who wasn’t in the limelight, I might have more photos on [Instagram] of our relationship, but I do think it’s important,” Zac Efron’s girlfriend said.
“I mean, it’s what is going on in my life, and I think that my social media can still represent that,” the model added.
