Yoko Ono Says She Has ‘Something In Mind’ For New Album; Singer Not Working With Plastic Ono Band?

A new album from Yoko Ono is expected to arrive in 2016 with a new lineup from the Plastic Ono Band.
In a report by Vulture , the widow of former Beatles frontman John Lennon confirmed that she has been working on with new music but just couldn’t squeeze in the time to record the songs.

“I’m going to go to the studio to make [new music] soon, but I don’t have the time now,” Ono said after she was asked as to what king of music she is listening to right now. “I didn’t have the time when I was doing MoMA. Now MoMA is over, but then I have a few things I have to do. I think I have to wait until sometime next year.”
In another interview with Billboard , however, Yoko Ono revealed that she couldn’t really move on with recording for a new album because of a busy schedule.
“I have something in mind for the next record, but I haven’t started yet because there’s so many things this year that I had to take care of,” she said. “I was amazed. This was one of the busiest years of my life, actually.”
Apart from the Yoko Ono new album release news, a report from Time  revealed what Ono had in store for John Lennon’s birthday celebration, which happened a few days back.
The peace activist planned to break a world record by having a group of people form the largest peace sign for Lennon’s supposed 75 th  birthday.
According to the report, the initial world record was set in 2009 in New York, where 5,814 people joined.
However, Ono wasn’t able to break the record and only gathered around 2,000 people to join her plan on Oct. 9.
“Yes, we are going to make a big peace sign with people,” she said in her interview with Vulture. “A human peace-sign. We need a little bit more than 5,000 people. I would really like people to consider coming to this one. I’m going to be there, too, of course. It’s going to be a sort of conceptual peace-sign performance in honor of John.”
