The WWE management and 2K Games are serious when they said they are planning to make “WWE 2K16” the most star studded “WWE 2K” game to exist.
In their efforts of adding more talents to the roster, they recruited Samoa Joe from TNA and he is confirmed to be joining the “WWE 2K16” roster as well!
Here’s his tweet hinting that he has decided to jump ship to WWE.
To strengthen the claim, Wrestlezone reported that Samoa Joe spoke with Triple H and they had an agreement that Samoa Joe will make his debut in June.
Rumor has it that he will first start at WWE’s developmental program, WWE NXT.
However, it seems like Triple H is a fan of Samoa Joe’s wrestling prowess and he will start immediately with the WWE.
Other WWE Superstars rumored to make their debut in the “WWE 2K16” roster are Rosa Mendes and Sasha Banks.
Also, Jim Role will play a huge role in the game as he will be included as a new commentator in the upcoming wrestling game.
As stated in our previous report , “‘WWE 2K16’ will be the most ambitious WWE 2K game yet roster-wise as they plan to surpass “WWE 13” which features 106 playable characters.
Looking at the game’s predecessors, “WWE 2K14” have 103 playable characters while “WWE 2K15” has an underwhelming roster with only 83 playable characters per Wrestle Zone .
For 2K games and WWE to accomplish that goal, they would need to include iconic legends and NXT prospects for “WWE 2K16” in order to have 100 playable characters in the roster.
Looking at WWE’s current pool of talents, 60 WWE superstars are currently listed.
Fans will get more information about “WWE 2K16” roster when E3 2015 arrives.
It will be held on June 16-18.
