With the anticipated release of the “World of Warcraft” movie trailer in November, fans and gamers are speculating that it will have a “tie-in” with the upcoming new expansion “World of Warcraft: Legion.”
According to the Den of Geek , there is not much assurance that the game will be out in time for the movie’s release date. However, a “tie-in” is more likely to happen.
“Expansions provide a similar opportunity, but with the arrival of the movie, players will expect some sort of tie-in to fit the movie,” the tech site reported as it related the movie with the “World of Warcraft: Legion.”
“While it wouldn’t surprise anyone if ‘Legion’ is released around the opening date for the movie, it’s safe to say that at the very least, we’ll see some sort of tie-in event that fits the movie thematically,” it added.
The site further noted that the movie may not draw many positive feedbacks from the audience and it may not even give 100% justice to the Warcraft universe, but it will surely bring some good impact on the “World of Warcraft” per se.
It continued by saying that the impact will be felt “whether we’re science fiction/fantasy lovers, gamers, or WoW no-lifers/super casuals (take your pick and wear the badge proudly!).”
Meanwhile, the Den of Geek stated in a separate report that two major specifications are expected to be incorporated in the upcoming “World of Warcraft: Legion.”
It revealed that the “survival hunters will be turned into a melee DPS spec while discipline priests will be turned into a fully-fledged DPS/heal hybrid spec.”
With these innovations, “WoW” gamers are seen to enjoy more the gaming experience.
In the meantime, the Day Herald shared that while there is no clear detail yet relative to the release date of the “World of Warcraft: Legion,” the movie is predicted to be out by March 2016.
