WINNER's Seung Yoon Surprises Apink's Eunji For Her First Solo Concert

WINNER’s Kang Seung Yoon surprised his good friend Apink’s Eunji by appearing in her first solo concert at the Ewha Woman’s University Samsung Hall. The two performed a series of duets as a treat to Eunji’s supporters who attended the event. According to a report by All Kpop , Eunji and Seung Yoon performed “Dawn” and “All For You” which showcased the perfect blend of voices between the Apink member and the WINNER leader. Kang Seung Yoon also sang the vocally challenging “Instinctively” and “Wound Deeper Than Love.”
Eunji and Seung Yoon, while they come from different agencies, share quite a history together before making it in the K-pop industry. Both are only a year apart when they took a private music class. Eunji was from Batch ’93 while Seung Yoon was from batch ’94. Both artists are also from Busan and have known each other for years. When they went professional, Seung Yoon signed with YG Entertainment and became part of the K-pop group WINNER. Eunji was offered a contract by Plan A Entertainment, which was formerly known as CUBE Entertainment to become part of Apink. Apink Eunji’s solo concert was welcome news for her fans who were worried about the singer’s recovery when she was laid up for a while in March due to back pain. The singer reportedly hurt her back while preparing for their performance in Hanoi and was obviously suffering through it during the shows. Eunji was rushed to the hospital for some treatment and rest but doctors ruled that the injury was not very serious. Meanwhile, Soompi has reported that Apink is set to make a comeback this month. The comeback has earlier been teased by the composition team of Beomi Nangi and was later confirmed by a Plan A Entertainment source. “Apink is currently recording songs and preparing for a comeback in late-June. We have not chosen a title track yet,” the source said. Apink’s comeback is expected to release late June although no concrete date has been set by Plan A yet.
