Winds Of Winter Release Date: George R. R. Martin Pulls Bait And Switch, Releases New Novel, But It’s Not Going To Help Game of Thrones Season 6; Song Of Ice And Fire’Galley May Be At Translator Desk

Winds Of Winter Release Date: Game of Thrones fans are waiting for the almost-spoilers of the next upcoming novel  “A Song of Ice and Fire” by George R.R. Martin, “The Winds of Winter.” But the writer had other plans. He dropped the novel “A Knight of Seven Kingdoms” in its place. Some people might say that’s good marketing, I say it’s a bait and switch.

“The Winds of Winter” is the sixth book of “A Song of Ice and Fire,” the novel series that HBO’s Game of Thrones is based on. While fans of the series wonder whether Jon Snow is really dead, or will remain dead, Martin has only teased about whether the intrepid keeper of the watch will be brought back by a witch, or a red queen, whichever comes first
A Song of Ice and Fire will wrap up with the seventh and final book titled “A Dream of Spring.”
Martin’s “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” is actually a prequel novella to “A Song of Ice and Fire.” It is broken up into three book titles called “The Hedge Knight,” “The Sworn Sword,” and “The Mystery Knight,” according to the Day Herald.
While George R.R. Martin is still tight-lipped about the “Winds Of Winter”  release date, he is part of a book by the creator of “Gone Girl.”
But don’t fret, it’s Halloween, not Christmas and Winter is Coming.net reported that a Polish translator named Michał Jakuszewski claimed that he was asked to schedule the translation of the sixth book in the “A Song of Ice And Fire” series before the end of the year. The translator told Polish website PIESN LODU I OGNIA that Zysk wants Winds of Winter translated by the end of the year.
Fans are worried that the sixth book won’t come out in time for the Game of Thrones season 6.
George R.R. Martin recently announced that Cinemax ordered a script for his werewolf novel, “The Skin Trade” in his Live Journal blog.
