The members of AOA revealed that they are not on close terms with Han Sung Ho who is the CEO of their agency, FNC Entertainment.
On the September 26th episode of JTBC’s ‘Sleeping with the Boss,’ FNC Entertainment idols AOA, Juniel, and F.T Island appeared as the special guests.
Including the stars, their agency’s CEO, Han Sung Ho, was a guest on the episode as well.
AOA member ChoA got the conversation started when she revealed that the group is not close to Han Sung Ho.
“Because we’re on a program with our CEO as the focus, I wanted to say nice things,” she began.
“But to tell the truth, we don’t know the CEO very well.
If things don’t go well, we do not exchange words.” When ChoA said this, the others laughed.
ChoA further said, “He only learned our names after we finished ‘Miniskirt’ [promotions].
He eats meals so often with CNBLUE and F.T Island, but he ate only once with us.” Yuna added, “We ate with him for the first time not too long ago.” Juniel, who had little to add to the conversation, revealed that she has never had a one-on-one meal with Han Sung Ho.
Han Sung Ho defended why he does not eat with the female idols.
“When it comes to female celebrities like girl groups or Juniel, even when we’re recording, it’s a bit awkward,” he said.
“We don’t meet up privately.
It’s also uncomfortable for them when I ask to eat together.” ChoA explained that she and her groupmates had to take matters into their own hands.
“One day, the members [of AOA] were like, ‘This isn’t right,'” she said.
“So on a rainy day, we left a message on his car, ‘CEO, we want to eat octopus.
Please buy us octopus.’ That was how we ate together for the first time.”
