With the recent release of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Edge version, a smaller version – the S6 mini – is also expected to come.
Mini versions, which is usually expected on most Galaxy phones, features a smaller body fit with “smaller” hardware specs.
The mini variants are also seen to be released a few months after the normal versions were released.
Meaning that the Samsung Galaxy S6 Mini is expected to come out in June.
According to a report by Android Pit, the new S6 mini with a few dollars slashed from the price, the screen size would also be slashed with a 4.5-inch super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, packed with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and still protected by the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
Also seen in the S6, the mini variant is also expected to have the latest technology of wireless charging that could turbo charge the battery to as fast as 60% in 30 minutes.
It is also expected to have Smart Say, OneDrive that supports up to 115 GB of cloud storage and the fingerprint scanner that supports the newest Samsung Pay.
Just like the S6, rumors state that the mini could possibly still have the same camera carrying a 16 MP lens that supports 2988 x 5312 pixels of resolution with optical image stabilization, autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, Auto HDR and panorama features.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Mini is also expected to be seen in four different colors: White Pearl, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum and Blue Topaz.
