Taylor Swift is now in full swing on her “1989” tour that promotes her new album with the same title.
In her shows, Billboard revealed what fans should expect from her tour shows after the “Shake It Off” singer packed her Japan show that filled up the Tokyo Dome.
Starting off, fans are expected to have a light show of sorts, as everyone in the arena would be handed out with glow sticks that are expected to give the arena a different light and feel.
In line with this, testimonies from close friends of Taylor Swift would be shown on the screen in between songs while the singer prepares for the next performance.
Messages from her friends including Selena Gomez and the HAIM sisters can be seen during the show.
Also, as pointed out by the same source, Taylor Swift talked about her new album, claiming how she got the inspiration to write the songs in the record.
She claimed that everything heard in the disc came from her heart.
“For this album I was a 25-year-old girl, single, writing about love from the outside looking in,” Swift said.
“I learned a lot about love from…watching movies! Eighties teen movies like Sixteen Candles.” Talking about a few songs from the record, Swift told the story of how she wrote the songs “You Are In Love” and “Clean,” which is expected from her to be performed during her 2015 tour.
“A lot of people find themselves with these blurred lines or mixed messages, not knowing if the person loves them back,” she said.
“In a perfect world it’s like you tell your love simply.
You only have two options…either you leave…or you stay.” “Remember, you are not your mistakes.
You are not damaged goods.
You are not the opinion of someone who doesn’t know you.
You are someone who survived a rainstorm which made you stronger.
Now I believe a lot of rainstorms make you clean….clean.”
