'Wayward Pines' Season 2 Cast Shannyn Sossamon Reveals Why She Left Hollywood

Shannyn Sossamon, star of the TV series has recently spoke up about her career now that she is back for season 2 of  “Wayward Pines.”

In her statement, she addressed the question that was in her fans’ heads before she returned to Hollywood. This question is why she left in the first place.
In an article published by  Nylon , it was revealed that Sossamon left acting because of what fans call, a common reason, which is being shocked by the culture in Hollywood.
“I was just totally not ready for that,” Sossamon said, pretaining to the attention she got when she first came out as an actress. “And didn’t even want it in a way. It’s a privilege, it’s a great job…I’m not complaining, but I don’t know; I’ve got a lot of ‘Type A’ in me.”
“I like to have more ground beneath my feet and really understand where I am and what the goal is and what I want,” she added.
Moreso, the actress set for “Wayward Pines” season 2, revealed that she is now a mom.
“I like to look at the birth of my first son as a blessing of course, and he’s just the joy of my life and my soulmate,” She said. “I can’t imagine life without him, so it’s weird to think the other way.”
“He completely grounded me and made me look at myself, and my life just became completely different. It was just a gift, and perfect timing, too,” the actress added.
“It’s exciting now to want to do it again,” she continued, going back to her renewed acting career. “Desire, for all of us, is totally necessary to do anything worthwhile. I questioned that for a long time, and I thought maybe I just don’t want to, maybe I don’t love it, but I think it’s just happening when it’s supposed to happen.”
“I’m a creative person, so there are other things I can do and I can be easily distracted,” she added. “But [acting] felt like it was supposed to be. I like to think it chose me instead of me choosing it, and I think I’m taking that very seriously now.”
Fans have since been glued to any updates on “Wayward Pines” season 2.
