Taylor Swift has officially debuted her newest music video for her single, “Bad Blood” at this year’s Billboard Music Awards.
Being hyped for quite some time before its debut, the “Bad Blood” video features a star-studded cast including Taylor’s friends, Selena Gomez, Lena Dunham, Cara Delevingne, Karlie Kloss and others.
As reported by Rappler , among the list of the musicians and actresses included in the video that weren’t known much to be Taylor’s friends were Paramore’s Hayley Williams, rapper Kendrick Lamar, actressses Ellen Pompeo, Jessica Alba, Mariska Hargitay and singer Ellie Goulding.
The video began with a clip of both Taylor and Selena fighting a group of men inside an office, after which they turn on one another and fight.
The whole video was basically Taylor and Selena’s groups going against each other.
As known to many, Taylor’s songs are usually directed towards her exes.
This time, however, it has been previously rumored that “Bad Blood” is Swift’s song to rumored enemy, Katy Perry.
After the video debut, fans are speculating that Selena’s character represents Katy Perry in Taylor’s life, as Taylor and Katy started out as friends in the industry, much like how the video started when Swift and Gomez were both fighting the enemies as one team.
Their drift was allegedly represented when both Taylor and Selena turned against each other and created an army of soldiers.
Fans also added that Taylor might be seeing this as an opportunity to send Katy a cryptic message and make their alleged silent war even worse than it has been rumored to be.
Fans are now anticipating a release of some sort from Katy’s camp to counter Taylor’s video.
Whether the fans’ speculations are true or not, Taylor nor Katy have yet to release a statement addressing the issue.
