Today, Funimation announced its official fall 2015 simulcast list . As previously reported, the list included “Seraph of the End” season two. Along with the announcement, Funimation revealed a new trailer for the upcoming episodes with English subtitles. Fans can watch the trailer below before “Seraph of the End” season two premieres on Oct. 11.

Last month, fans in an ANN forum expressed much excitement for the new season of “Seraph of the End.”
“They upped the animation quality in this second season and I’m so pumped for Fripside’s song! I love her songs! This season is going to be so awesome,” said Kiminobokuwa.
The Fripside song in question is the season two opening theme entitled, “Two souls -toward the truth-.”
The “Seraph of the End” anime series is directed by Daisuke Tokudo with series composition by Hiroshi Seko. Character designs are by Satoshi Kadowaki. Music is composed by Hiroyuki Sawano. Finally, Wit Studio is handling the animation production.

“Seraph of the End,” which is based on the manga by Takaya Kagami, Daisuke Furuya, and Yamato Yamamoto, is described on My Anime List as follows:
“One day, a mysterious virus appeared on Earth which killed every infected human over the age of 13. At the same time, vampires emerged from the world’s dark recesses and enslaved mankind.”
It goes on:
“Enter Hyakuya Yuuichirou, a young boy, who along with the rest of the children from his orphanage, are treated as livestock by the vampires. Even in captivity, Yuuichirou dreams big. He dreams of killing vampires. He dreams of killing them all.”
