The newest episode of the show “Lip Sync Battle” has John Krasinski being pitted against actress Anna Kendrick.
In the promotional clip for the show, viewers have been given a glimpse of what to expect when the two stars take to the stage.
Kendrick decided to channel her inner boyband by lip syncing to One Direction’s “Steal My Girl.” The “Pitch Perfect” star then began singing to a video montage of Emily Blunt, who is John Krasinskis’ wife.
For his part, John Krasinski channeled Tina Turner by singing “Proud Mary.” The actor came dressed for the part too, as he ripped off his clothes to reveal a silver fringe dress.
But Kendrick had one more surprise up her sleeve.
The 29-year-old actress brought out no less than Jennifer Lopez herself for duet in the final moments of her song.
This prompted a stunned Krasinski to exclaim, “What is happening?” This new “Lip Synch Battle” episode comes after the one where audiences saw Anne Hathaway going head to head with Emily Blunt.
Emily Blunt did “No Diggity,” and a Janis Joplin number, while Anne Hathaway chose a Mary J.
Blige song, before performing what fans have called her “dramatic” interpretation of Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball.” “Lip Sync Battle,” airs on Spike TV and is hosted by rapper L.L.

The show’s premise is a battle between two celebrities as they perform their best rendition of a lip synced song of their own choosing.
Before becoming a full fledged TV show, “Lip Sync Battle” was a popular segment on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.” The spin off show premiered with Dwayne Johnson performing “Shake It Off,” by Taylor Swift against Jimmy Fallon’s “Like A Prayer,” by Madonna.
“Lip Sync Battle” is produced by Jimmy Fallon with Stephen Merchant, and John Krasinski.
