Pospisil, who was defeated by Andy Murray in a Men’s Quarterfinal match, claims that Wimbledon umpires are too easy on top players in regards to time violations.
“A lot of times these umpires, they seem to just want to be seen,” Pospisil told ESPN.
“I don’t know why they do it at a time like that. I went 30 seconds. How many times do you see the top guys go more than that and they don’t get any violation, especially when it’s important moments.”
The match will begin on Sunday at 9:00 a.m. (EST) and will be aired on television by ESPN. The match will take place at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.
