At a recently held live stream, developers in Sony talked about the progress of “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.” In a report by Dual Shockers , the game is being tested by at least 40 people and that the studio is still continue hiring, as they expect more people to work on the game.
Naughty Dog QA lead Trevor Stevens even claimed that their goal is to reach at least 60 testers.
Meanwhile, in a different report from the same source, Community Strategists Eric Monacelli revealed that the Sony Studio is 100% focused on the title and even revealed that the team now working on the game also worked for previous titles such as “The Last Of Us” and “Uncharted 3.” “Our team is just full of evil geniuses and wizards and they’re just really good programmers,” Monacelli said.
“With a lot of dev teams – I worked in a few different places – it’s the same sort of feel, but Naughty Dog has this sort of special magic that whenever we go into crunch it’s just like, we all come together and we want the absolute best of everything.
And it just somehow comes out and shines through, it’s just incredible.” Senior Cinematics Animator for “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End” Tal Peleg claimed that he is confident about the game especially with the multiplayer aspect since it would be highly expected on the release.
“Not really, no,” when asked if he would be pressured on the creation of the title.
“We got the back of good designers and programmers, so it’s really just to make it look awesome.” “It’s probably not a main factor,” he replied when asked about the multiplayer’s latency.
“It’s maybe one of the factors, but not a primary one.
We’re trying to make it as sterile and clean as possible, and then when lag kicks in then we say ‘what can we do to try and make it more responsive,’ but it usually goes without factoring that in.” “Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End” will be available for the PS4 and is expected to be available in 2016.
