The Walking Dead series will add to its current cast, actor Tyler James Williams.
This report was confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter earlier today.
Williams, who also appears in other shows such as “Go On”, “Peeples” and “Everybody Hates Chris” will now portray the character of Noah in season 5 of TWD.
It still remains a mystery on what the character will do in the show because in the comic book series where the show is based on, a character of Noah does not exist.
However, in the two episodes of season 3 of the show, there was a Woodbury resident named Noah played by Peter Wierling.
Others also speculated that Noah is based on the character of the latest The Bible Series, “Noah”.
There are rumors that Noah might escape and save the people from zombie apocalypse by building a huge boat, similar to what the character of ‘Noah’ did in The Bible.
Also, in the prequel video game, “The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct”, there was a character named Noah Cruz.
Williams matches Cruz’ age and ethnicity, thus of all the speculations involving the character ‘Noah’, this one might be the most possible.
Rumors that Williams will be part of the series began spreading when the actor was spotted in the set of The Walking Dead in Atlanta last month.
The Hollywood Reporter also said that other new faces will be seen in The Walking Dead Season 5 and it will include Andrew J.
West, Seth Gilliam, Alanna Masterson and Christian Serrato but no clarification yet of the roles that these actors will portray.
Supporters of the The Walking Dead will surely watch out for the new characters that will emerge in the most loved zombie apocalypse series today.
The Walking Dead Season 5 will start airing on AMC on October 12, 2014.
