True Detective Season 1 actress Alexandra Daddario opened up to Jimmy Kimmel about acting and why her mom hasn’t watched her turn on the dark HBO supernatural thriller series.

Alexandra Daddario recently was cast in the upcoming Kate Upton road-trip sex comedy.

Alexandra Dadarrio’s mom hasn’t seen her daughter act on “True Detective,” althought she’s seen her in everything else she’s done.

“She watches everything,” the 29-year-old actress said.

“I told her for True Detective that I get fully naked in the show, so she did not have to watch it if she didn’t want to.

So I don’t think she’s seen that actually.” Daddario hit the El Capitan Theatre for her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on May 18 stopped by to promote her new movie San Andreas.

Macy’s second film as a director.

According to the official synopsis Daddario and Upton will star as best friends who “decide to avoid their problems by taking a vacation, only to find that their plane has been rerouted due to a hurricane warning.” Daddario replaced Lea Michele.

Alexandra Daddario joined her co-stars Carla Gugino and Dwayne Johnson for the world premiere of her new movie, “San Andreas,” at Odeon Leicester Square on Thursday afternoon (May 21) in London, England.

According to the official synopsis, San Andreas centers on “a rescue-chopper pilot (Johnson) makes a dangerous journey across the state in order to rescue his estranged daughter (Daddario) in the aftermath of a massive earthquake in Calif.” San Andreas opens on May 29 th .
