Expected on the upcoming “Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5” release date is the ever popular hangar stage and school stage that has been seen almost at every THPS installation Activision has ever created.
In a report by Digital Spy , a new game mode is expected from the game which includes a new online game mode that could bring gamers together to possibly beat missions in co-operative mode or competitive mode.
“I feel like the new consoles have become established, and we can bring back a nostalgic feel for the fans,” Tony Hawk said of the new feature.
“[We can] update it in terms of gameplay, look and motion, and create a new online community which is something we didn’t have in the past.
We had a skatepark editor and we had some online elements, but nothing that is so rich as it is now.” The legendary skater even added that gamers should expect a lot of major changes in the game and if they’re lucky enough, they would be able to play with him online.
“I’ll be out there online playing for sure, and I can’t wait to see what people are creating and sharing,” he said.
Including the school and hangar stages, a total of nine environments is expected from the game but would have over 80 missions with expanded stages compared to the older “Tony Hawk Pro Skater” games.
“But they’ve also been improved upon,” Hawk said.
“They won’t be changed, but expanded.” In addition to that,Game Informer revealed what to expect on the new game and what Activision has to offer.
“Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 features a new set of levels packed with objectives and missions you can complete solo or with friends via online co-op and competitive play.
Whether you just want to have a session with friends or strangers or want to level up your character online and then take them offline, the game’s online flow is seamless.
Your created skate parks can also be shared with world.”
