TONE IT UP Fitness Trainers Katrina Scott and Karena Dawn want women to be motivated for the summer.

Rodale Books announced that the fitness book “TONE IT UP: 28 Days to Fit, Fierce, and Fabulous” by Katrina Scott and Karena Dawn is available in time to get ready to hit the beach.

Katrina Scott and Karena Dawn are the founders of the TONE IT UP fitness and health brand.

Being fit isn’t just about looking great in a bikini to Katrina and Karena, but a whole-body, whole-lifestyle of being that starts with respecting your body and taking care of your beautiful, amazing self, inside and out.

The pair explore a fun, energetic, girlfriend-to-girlfriend approach to getting in shape.  Katrina and Karena just released their first-ever book titled “TONE IT UP: 28 Days to Fit, Fierce, and Fabulous” on May 5 on Rodale Books.  Katrina and Karena give readers a “Word for Today” (i.e.

“confident”) and “Your Mantra” (i.e.

“I am strong.  I am beautiful.  I am capable”).  They also have a daily four goals to meet (1) Morning Booty Call (2) Daily Fitness Challenge (3) Fab Food of the Day and (4) Body Loving Recipe of the Day.  The ladies give motivational insight on “going for it” with their exercise executions, and provide insight on healthy food picks with reasons why they are great choices for a healthy body/soul.

Katrina and Karena’s 28-day program incorporates brand-new fitness routines, delicious recipes, and mental and spiritual practices.

Readers will have the tools to transform their bodies, their attitudes, and their lives.  “The ladies first met in Manhattan Beach, California, and both realized that they had common goals,” reads their press statement.
