‘The Simpsons’ Season 26 Premiere, Rabbi Hyman Krustofski Bids Farewell In The First Episode Of The Show?

The Simpsons season 26 premiere of its first episode started with a sad farewell of one of the characters in the show.

The Simpsons season 26 premiere aired on Sunday, September 28 in the United States is dubbed as Clowns in the Dumps shows an unhappy Krusty.

In the report of the Rappler, the episode shows Krusty the Clown who bids farewell to his father, Rabbi Hyman Krustofski played by the voice of Jackie Mason.

According to the report of the Entertainment Weekly, Rabbi Hyman died on the Simpsons season 26 premiere as he was telling his son Krusty “If you want to know my honest opinion of you, you’ve always been…  eh .” As his son Krusty the Clown undergoing a predicament in his career.

Moreover, in the interview of Entertainment Weekly, executive Al Jean, explains the reason of the sudden death of one of the characters in the show.

“I was just trying to think of a story and I thought, It would be a good father-son story if Rabbi passed away and the last thing he said to his son was, “I think you’re  eh .” That the last word that Krusty heard from his dad was “eh,” and that he had to try to reconcile himself with that, and try to find an answer for this lifetime relationship,” Al Jean said.

“I thought we did it in a way that I hope is touching but is real and is just the little ways that people make peace with their past,” Al Jean added.

Furthermore, Al Jean explained that Rabbi will still be seen in the show, “He certainly could come back as a memory of Krusty, we haven’t recorded him yet but it’s likely.”
