“The Mindy Project” season 4 cancelled or renewed? Mindy Kaling’s first TV project after “The Office” only pulled in 3.2 million viewers a week and got a 1.7 rating among adults 18-49, but that doesn’t mean no one is watching this show.
If “The Mindy Project” isn’t renewed for another season, it will and on a cliff hanger.
Mindy is pregnant with Danny’s (Chris Messina) baby and Danny is still working on commitment issues.
“The Mindy Project”‘s lead-in show “New Girl” was renewed, but the future of “The Mindy Project” is up in the air.
TVLine says Mindy Project could “go either way,” for a season 4.
They used to say it was a sure thing.
Some sites are asking fans to flood Fox networks with #SaveMindy encouragement.
Even Chris Messina isn’t sure if “The Mindy Project” season 4 will be happening.
“I don’t know,” Messina recently told E! Online.
“You’ll probably find out faster than I will.
I’m the last person to know these things.” But the actor is still holding out hope.
“I feel confident that whatever is meant to be will be.
And I feel that Mindy and the writers have, I’m sure, tons of things they want to say about all these characters,” Chris Messina told ABC Radio.
“Fox has to just kind of see what they have and what’s there.
But they’ve been great to us.” “I think Fox is a really pretty cool network,” Messina added.
“I mean they really push the boundaries and I like what they do.
And I’m proud they let Mindy and her team push the boundaries and I’m proud to be on a show that does that.” Messina wants the chance to show him as a father.
“I’d love to see Danny and this baby,” Messina told E! Online.
“I never imagined I would be on a TV show with a baby, certainly not this one because, you know, in the pilot I said to [Mindy], ‘You should lose 15 pounds,'” Messina said.
“My character was a real d–k.
And now she’s having my baby.
It’s amazing how things can change.
And that’s the fun of television.
You get to grow with these characters.” “The Mindy Project” creator Mindy Kaling, who first came to prominence on “The Office,” still believes the show will be renewed.
“I’m so proud of the show,” Mindy told Bustle magazine.
“There’s nothing really that I would do differently in the way that we’ve built the those in the last couple of years, and I love our relationship with Fox and I would love for it to just continue.” The Mindy Project may still get a streaming deal.
