“Teen Wolf” executive producer Jeff Davis confirmed at the end of last season that plenty of terrifying things were still lurking in Eichen House.
Unfortunately for the characters of the series, this may not result in anything good.
Wolf fans rejoice as “Teen Wolf” season five’s release date is now confirmed for this summer.
But what fans may not have noticed at the “Teen Wolf” upfront presentation in New York, is that lead actor Tyler Posey dropped a potential major spoiler about this season’s upcoming villains, The Doctors.
Posey recently explained in an interview that not only will the doctors be scary, but they also have abilities that no one is expecting.
“They’re very scary,” Posey told TVLine .
“When I first read this season, I was so excited about these villains – more excited than I have been about any villains before.
They’ve got powers we’ve never seen before, they’re tall as hell and they’re awesome.” Although Posey managed to avoid any specific descriptions, it’s still pretty big to admit the Doctors have some kind of power.
That would explain how some of the torturous scenes pictured in the latest “Teen Wolf” season five trailer came about.
That is to say, if mind control is one of the powers Posey is talking about, the supernatural pack of Beacon Hills may be facing their toughest enemy yet.
As for other villains set to make an appearance in season five, Teen Wolf News recently profiled the contest winning creature called the “Sluagh.” The creature, created by winner Jessica Short, will be played by Texas native Michael Lynch.
Lynch secured the role as a part of the Make-A -Wish foundation.
Both the “Sluagh” and the Doctors are set to appear when “Teen Wolf” Season 5 begins with a two-night premiere on Monday, June 29 and Tuesday, June 30 at 10/9c.
Regular episodes will air every Monday night following the premiere.
