As previously announced by Taylor Swift, a new music video for her song “Bad Blood” premiered during the Billboard Music Awards last night.
In a report by Rolling Stone , Joseph Kahn directed the music video.
Kahn was also responsible for another video of Swift, “Blank Space.”
“I love working with [Swift].
She is the bomb,” Kahn tweeted.
Taylor Swift had her friends appear on the music video.
Rolling Stone revealed the complete cast of the “Bad Blood” music video and are as follows: Taylor Swift starred as Catastrophe, while her friends Selena Gomez casted as Arsyn, Karlie Kloss as Knockout, Kendrick Lamar as Welvin Da Great, Martha Hunt as HomeSlice, Jessica Alba as Domino, Serayah as Dilemma, Lena Dunham as Lucky Fiori, Hailee Steinfeld as The Trinity, Ellie Goulding as Destructa X, GiGi Hadid as Slay-Z, Hayley Williams as The Crimson Curse, Zendaya as Cut-Throat, Lily Aldridge as Frostbyte, Ellen Pompeo as Luna, Mariska Hargitay as Justice, Cara Delevingne as Mother Chucker and Cindy Crawford as Headmistress.
In a different Rolling Stone report, it was speculated that the song “Bad Blood” was about a famous female singer.
“For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not,” Swift said.
“She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, ‘Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'” Swift introduced the video during the awards night and was followed by a performance by Van Halen, who played their 1984 hit song “Panama.” Watch the new Taylor Swift “Bad Blood” music video right here.
