Taylor Swift’s mom Andrea has been diagnosed with cancer and despite her current battle, the “Blank Space” songstress opted to put on a brave face for a music video filming.

Meanwhile, Lady Gaga has extended her support to Taylor Swift’s mom’s cancer battle.

While the pop star remains hush, fans believe that the filming is for “Bad Blood.” The 25-year-old songstress was seen on set with Zendaya.

“God bless you and your mama and family, we’ll all be praying @taylorswift13,” wrote the “Alejandro” singer on Twitter.

Apart from the “Poker Face” singer, other celebrities have extended their heartfelt thoughts.

“@taylorswift13 stay strong.

Love to your Mom,” wrote Mindy Kaling.

Singer Shawn Mendes, on the other hand, posted a “#PrayForMamaSwift” hashtag.

Earlier this week, the “Styles” songstress shared the news on her Tumblr about her mother’s cancer diagnosis.

Taylor Swift wrote: “For Christmas this year, I asked my mom that one of her gifts to me be her going to the doctor to get screened for any health issues, just to ease some worries of mine.” “She agreed, and went in to get checked.

There were no red flags and she felt perfectly fine, but she did it just to get me and my brother off her case about it.” “The results came in, and I’m saddened to tell you that my mom has been diagnosed with cancer,” she continued.

Taylor Swift said that while her family wanted to keep the details private, she likewise felt that her fans needed to know because her mom’s close to them.

The blonde beauty also said that unlike before, her mom wouldn’t be able to accompany her shows all the time because of the battle she needs to win.

The “Out of the Woods” singer also urged others to be tested for possibilities of cancer.

However, Taylor Swift’s advice is being criticized by some groups.

As per Vox , it was reported that people should be careful because not all cancers are fatal and detecting them may even pose more danger.
