It was earlier reported on July 3rd that an Ilbe user threatened to hurt K-Pop’s sensational group TWICE by throwing hydrochloric acid on them. Now, JYP Entertainment is taking the threat seriously. JYP Entertainment is taking action against the Ilbe user by filing a police investigation on July 7th, 2017. The following photo was uploaded to the site and the uploader left a disturbing comment in how they will hard the sweet ladies of TWICE. The post came up on July 2nd saying ” TWICE has abandoned Korea and is earning a ton of money in Japan “. The photo above shows the line of Japanese fans who had come to see TWICE. The post continued on with, ” Yeah, money is good. Money is the best. Never come to Korea. I’ll be waiting for you at the airport with 10 L of hydrochloric acid. ” JYP Entertainment revealed a statement saying, “On the 6th, Seoul’s Gangnam Police Station gave us a notice concerning the related situation,” revealing JYP Entertainment has started taking legal action. TWICE’s Mina has just experienced one of the most terrifying moments of her life as she received a surprising death threat from a user coming from the Ilbe community. The user says that he or she wanted to kill Mina for some reason. The user posted something in the community and entitled it as “Mina I’ve got a knife.” In the post, the user posted another photo that shows that she is going to slit her wrist through the use of the knife that he or she is holding. The person then posted statement in the internet Korean community saying to Mina that she should she should slap his boyfriend and rip his mouth off so that the user wouldn’t continue killing her. It was indeed a very serious death threat which is why Mina can’t help but feel terrified about what happened to her. A photo (shown below) was posted on June 13th with the following message: “I have a knife against Mina.” The user further wrote that if Mina doesn’t attack her alleged boyfriend, the user would find her and kill her. He wrote, “If you don’t slap your boyfriend and rip his mouth, I am going to come and kill you.” Completely disturbing. JYP Entertainment has not released any official statements in regards to the matter and fans seem to ignore the controversy instead of giving more attention to the death threat. JYP Entertainment announced that will be responding strongly against the Ilbe user. “Following discussion with our legal team about the Ilbe user who posted a threat against TWICE’s Mina on June 13, we’re announcing it’s a policy that we’ll be responding strongly,” revealed JYP Entertainment. The agency has also decided to do the same for similar future cases as well. On Tuesday, June 13, a user on Ilbe uploaded a picture on the site that featured the user’s hand and a large kitchen knife. The caption on the photo said that the user would kill TWICE’s Mina if she does not slap her boyfriend. Fans who love TWICE saw the post and immediately reported it to the police. TWICE will be spreading their love towards their Japanese fans! The “Nation’s Girl Group” has recorded the Japanese version of “Like OHH-AHH” to be released this month. Summer 2017 will be the mark of TWICE’s debut in Japan. As reported by All Kpop , the girl group will be releasing a Japanese version of their debut song “Like OHH-AHH” within the month. Similarly, all of TWICE’s hit songs will be having a Japanese version for their Japanese fans. These include “Cheer Up”, “Knock Knock”, and “TT” just to name a few.
