Hyeri must be on an emotional roller coaster after getting pranked by TV show “The New Yang Nam Show”. The Girl’s Day member must have brought home 20 Million KRW if the production company didn’t pull out a prank card out of it. On April 6, Girl’s Day was invited to Mnet’s “New Yang Nam Show”, Allkpop  reported. The members were given lottery tickets as the prize of winning a quiz. Hyeri turned out to be the lucky one to win the 20 Million KRW prize. At first, she seemed unsure about it but then she asked the staff to check if she really won. The “Reply 1988” obviously laughed hysterically and was super excited after realizing that she could bring the tremendous amount of money to home. Recent reports have just confirmed that Mnet will be having a new girl group project show really soon. It is said that the show will be kicking off in the second part of this year. Mnet’s shows such as “Produce 101” and “Sixteen” have proven that they can creatively produce and give its viewers a taste of real K-pop. Now, it is reported that an upcoming new program show entitled, “Idol School”, will air this coming July. However, the process of accepting new applications for its contestants has already begun last March 28, and it kicked off in their own website.   “Produce 101” has produced another controversy. After news of lower group trainees being discriminated spreading online, there’s a report stated that trainees from Group F were interrogated and coerced to stay quiet about the recent scandal. Recently, it was reported that the producing team of “Produce 101” Season 2 interrogated trainees to find out who was the source that has been spreading the news about discrimination. However, the team and staff of “Produce 101” stated that there was no coercion or interrogation regarding recent controversies. Instead, the producing team only demanded trainees to be more careful next time and check the fact before they talk to third-parties, Soompi reported. K-Much Metamorphosed Into Ba.A

K-Much is going through a metamorphosis! Reportedly, it recently changed its name to Be.A, which stands for Be Artist. In Feb. 2017, it was accordingly announced that K-Much will change their name. The group have been asking fans to choose from one of the three nominees: Be.A (Be Artist/Be.A/ Become an artist), Champ (Become the Idol Champion) and B.O.T (Boy on top). And apparently, in Feb. 28 they broadcasted that now K-Much will be called by their new name Be.A. Then, in March 2, Soompi  reported, that the group also announced the addition of new member, BomB. Park Woo-young with the stage name BomB, made his first TV appearance on Mnet’s survival program “Boys24.” Be.A further hinted that they will be making comeback this year. The details accordingly will be revealed in Mar. 2017. K-Much, according to Wikipedia , is a boy band formed under Chrome Entertainment in 2014. They debuted in 7 Jan. 2014 with the release of their first mini album “Beyond the Ocean.” The group now consists of five members: Kiu, G.Low, BornUs, Ato and BomB. Although the group’s English name had always been K-Much, allegedly their original Korean name was Gamulchi, which is translated as snakehead.
