CNBLUE has revealed two new photos of members Yonghwa and Minhyuk that featured teaser lyrics for their title song “Between Us.” CNBLUE is currently preparing for their comeback with a new album “7ºCN.” The two CNBLUE members were pictured on a sunny beach background. Both Yonghwa and Minhyuk can be seen smiling as they pose for the camera. According to All Kpop’s translation, Yonghwa’s teaser lyric reads “I think I know the answer, but I can say the answer out loud.” Minhyuk’s teaser lyric reads “I want to feel you even hotter. Will I be able to handle it, when you become hotter.” CNBLUE is currently making their way back into the music industry. Earlier this month, the group released a schedule for their announcements. On Mar. 13, they released their “ON” series of teaser images for “7ºCN.” The boys wore white long-sleeved shirts with the exception of Tonghwa who wore a black sweater. The CNBLUE boys are seen standing on a sunny beach. The beach looked similar to where Yonghwa and Minhyuk were on in their latest teaser lyric images. BTOB (Born to Beat) a South Korean boy group topped the list for Japan’s Tower Record’s chart. The boys were ranked #1 as well as #2 on Tower Records 2016 Yearly K-Pop chart. They were on the list for their single “Dear Bride” #1 which was released in February and “L.U.V”, which came out in June was ranked at #2. Apart from these two tracks their first full Japanese album ’24/7′ was also ranked #1 on Oricon’s weekly chart for weekly chart December 19, allkpop reported. They are the 6 th non-Japanese to be ranked #1 on Oricon’s weekly album chart. According to soompi , BTOB’s Japanese debut album ’24/7′ became the best-selling album by having sold 27,000 copies. This was the second time boys topped the Oricon charts. Their single ‘L.U.V’ which sold over 77,000 copies in the first week was the previous one which was at the first place. Guilty” and as such, they have been appearing in multiple TV and radio programs to promote the said album. Just recently, the group had taken part in a pictorial for “Ceci” and in the interview portion of the pictorial the boys of MONSTA X were asked a number of questions. It didn’t take long before the discussion went to the topic of member Kihyun’s appearance on the variety show “King of Masked Singer” where he was a contestant for the 20 th generation Mask King back in December. According to Allkpop , the soon-to-be 23-year old singer had admitted that he has been really into the voice of singer and B1A4 member Sandeul as of late and if he were ever to appear in King of Masked Singer again, he would most likely be singing his songs. “Given the chance to appear on Mask King again, I would definitely sing Sandeul’s song.” Kihyun says during the interview. Cube Entertainment’s male group BTOB has released several photo teasers for their upcoming EP. On March 25, photo teasers for BTOB’s upcoming album Remember That were released through BTOB’s official Facebook page. The photos showcase a sweet vibe, which is perfect and just in time for the spring season. With the photos that were released, a video audio teaser was uploaded through BTOB’s official YouTube channel on March 24 for the group’s upcoming album. Fans who has listened to the audio teasers cannot wait for the full album to be released, and they shared their excitement about the songs. “All the songs are so beautiful! So happy that their new title song is a ballad song too!,” wrote yaodevi520 in the comment’s section of the video. BTOB consists Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Changsub, Hyunsik, Peniel, Ilhoon, and Sungjae. K-pop boy band Monsta X are back, and are kicking off their comeback promotions. On Monday, March 7, Monsta X’s comeback schedule was uploaded on MONSTA X Trans Twitter page. The photo shows that Monsta X’s comeback promotion preparations will go from March 7 through 13. Fans who has seen the post are wondering what the title of Monsta X’s single will be. They speculate it is titled “Vroom Vroom.” “What it mean comeback vroom vroom,” wrote Twitter user Boo Inna on the comment’s section of the post. Monsta X is a seven member male group who are signed with Starship Entertainment. Members consists Wonho, Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Jooheon, I.M, and Hyungwon. Their last activity was on September 1, 2015 when the group released second EP Rush .
Many of your favorite K-pop stars showcased their athleticism and strength during MBC’s 2016 Idol Star Athletic Championships . During the annual Lunar New Year multi-sports competition, members of popular K-pop acts compete against one another in a variety of athletic match ups. Starting on Tuesday, Feb. 9, the men’s wrestling competition was fierce with members from BTS, Teen Top, GOT7, MONSTA X, UP10TION, B.A.P, and VIXX going head to head. After many rounds, the final battle came down to VIXX and BTS. The winner was VIXX’s Ken who defeated BTS member Jin. Moving onto archery, both male and female groups competed on Feb. 9 with members of TWICE, GOT7, CLC, BTOB, VIXX, BTS, Lovelyz, and AOA showing their keen eyes. The final battle came against VIXX – AOA and BTOB – CLC. With AOA’s Jimin making several errors, the winner was CLC and BTOB. Female idols showed their speed in the 60m race with G-Friend’s Yuju, Oh My Girl’s Binnie, and BESTie’s Yuji leading the herd. Monster X took home the prestigious Next Generation Award at Thursday’s Golden Disk Awards, sans two members. The Starship Entertainment K-pop boy band debuted in 2015 and garnered much attention for their aggressive hip-pop style, resulting in multiple awards at year end ceremonies. The Golden Disk Awards, one of the most prestigious music award ceremonies in South Korea, recognized the group as a rising act in the industry, despite two members being absent from the ceremony. I.M and Minhyuk both were absent from both Monsta X’s acceptance speech and the group’s performance at the Golden Disk Awards. Rapper I.M has been absent from multiple Monsta X year-end performances due to an injury in December. Since hurting himself, I.M has been taking a break with plans to rejoin the group once he is recovered. Minhyuk was absent after tearing a knee ligament while practicing on Jan. 17. He appeared at this week’s recording for the “Idol Star Athletics Championship,” but was unable to run. After continuous pain, he went to the hospital and discovered that he had torn the ligament. As part of the three-day Korean event SGKStar 2015, a joint fan meeting for Starship Entertainment’s artists SISTAR and Monsta X was held in Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre on Dec. 6. It was a double treat for fans, as they could see both groups perform at the combined fan meeting. After having only debuted in May, rookie group Monsta X joined their more seasoned label mates SISTAR on stage to greet a huge crowd of excited Singaporean fans. SISTAR kicked off the joint fan meeting with their latest summer hit “Shake It.” Bora, Dasom and Hyolyn looked gorgeous in their figure-hugging outfits; it’s a pity that Soyou was not present at the fan meeting. Dasom told the audience, “Thank you for your warm welcome!” Hyolyn exclaimed, “We will perform more that we couldn’t show you previously, let’s have fun together!” SISTAR’s second song was “Don’t Be Such A Baby,” a slower tempo song where all three members sang parts. Dasom has a sweet voice, but she does not get many singing lines in SISTAR’s songs. It was a pleasure to be able to hear her sing live. After 3 long years, Cube Entertainment’s boy group BTOB (short for Born To Beat) finally returned to the shores of Singapore on December 4 with ‘I Mean’ Fan Meet, much to the delight of their dedicated fans (known as Melodies). The K-pop group to kicked off the star-studded weekend in conjunction with the SGKStar festival. Held at Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre, BTOB impressed an audience of over 1000 fans and had the atmosphere heated up right from the start. Smartly suited up in a navy blue and black ensemble, the charming members of BTOB first appeared on stage and blew the crowd away with title track ‘WOW’ . The upbeat song had fans hyped up and waving their blue fan light sticks. Despite their good looks, BTOB members were sporting enough to showcase their not-so-glamorous and ‘ugly’ facial expressions during the fan meeting. The game, which was one of the main highlights of the night, required them to represent a particular situation or emotion through their faces. Leader Eunkwang and Changsub were the fan favourites as they went all out to win the game but it was idol-actor Sungjae who won a point for showing a feminine girlish expression.
