Park Hyung Sik Eyes Tough Guy Role For Next Project; Signs With Song Hye Kyo's Agency UAA For Next Phase Of Career

After the success of “Hwarang” and “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon,” Park Hyung Sik is looking for a different role for his future project. The ZE:A member said that he wants to take on a tough guy role instead of the typical hero in a romantic comedy trope. According to a report by Korea Portal , Park Hyung Sik said that he is considering a role that is different from his previous projects as he wanted to challenge himself as an actor. He said that his previous projects were part of his learning process. He said he started to feel maturity as an actor while working on historical drama “Hwarang” but his role in “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon” marked his first leading role. He credited co-star and rumored girlfriend Park Bo Young with the effectiveness of their portrayal. “We became close personally, but I was also amazed by her acting. I learned a lot from her,” Park Hyung Sik said. Park Hyung Sik said that he wants to test himself as an actor in a melodrama or in a tough guy role. It wasn’t too long ago that a small studio developed a video game demo for “To the Edge of the Sky,” a game based on K-pop group BTS with characters inspired by its members Rap Monster, Jimin, Jin, Jungkook, Suga, J-Hope and V. According to Aeon Dream Studio, the team behind the fan-made demo, the game was intended to bring BTS closer to their international fans and now they’re making it available in different languages as well. According to an interview with SBS Pop Asia , Aeon Dream Studios developers have announced that they’re making the BTS game “To the Edge of the Sky” available in Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, German, French, and Polish. They’re also planning to release the game in Russian, Thai, Dutch and Danish with the help of BTS ARMY translators. Aeon Dream Studios is also busy developing an Android version for “To the Edge of the Sky” to make the BTS game available to ARMY members who want to play the game on mobile. K-pop superstar PSY is set to make his comeback this May. The “Gangnam Style” and “Gentleman” hitmaker has been confirmed to be releasing his new album with not just one but two music videos. According to a report by Soompi , PSY originally planned to release his upcoming album in April. He even made the announcement during his concert performance in the Philippines. However, a source from YG Entertainment recently gave an update that PSY will be releasing his new album in May instead. The source also said that PSY is busy shooting two music videos to come out with the release. PSY’s new album marks his eighth album release after 1 ½ years. Prior to the announcement made by MYM Entertainment about the actor’s enlistment, speculations have been growing that SBS is considering a sequel to the successful fantasy drama. According to a report by Korea Portal , the rumored sequel will revolve around Lee Min Ho’s character Joon Jae who will raise his children on his own after Jun Ji Hyun’s character Sim Chung passes away. The report hinted that the lead female role will be taken over by Lee Min Ho’s real life girlfriend Suzy Bae.
