Super Junior’s Heechul recently appeared on the “I Can See Your Voice 4” episode on April 20. He was accompanied by his co-SUJU members Shindong and Yesung. On the show, host Yoo Sae Yoo asked why the Heechul and the rest of the boys didn’t appear on the show earlier. Heechul then explained how he would have loved to be the show’s guest. However, Heechul added that when they tried to be on the show, one member got their military enlistment letter and had to comply. According to All Kpop , Heechul also added how the rest of his members were eventually called by the military that’s why they didn’t have the chance to visit the show anymore. Host Yoo Sae Yoo then asked the trio on who among the Super Junior members are the best in lip syncing. The idol revealed some interesting stories about his past performance with actress Um Hyun Kyung as well as addressed queries about his sexual orientation. On “Happy Together” episode March 16, Heechul was asked questions about how he ended up making a great kissing scene with Uhm Hyun Kyung on a romantic comedy they starred in 12 years ago. Heechul admitted that was one of the dreadful experiences he had ever encountered since he didn’t have any acting experiences at that time. He talked about his undying love for Wonder Girls’ ex member and now actress Sohee and his conversation with Lee Soo Man. Hee Chul started telling the hosts that she dated a rookie idol before. He asked SM Entertainment’s founder, Lee Soo Man, about how to deal with it. SM Entertainment’s SM TOWN released the music video collaboration by Super Junior’s Heechul and rock artist Min Kyung Hoon last November 19 on their official YouTube channel. The music video for “Sweet Dream” was highly anticipated especially after netizens learned that TWICE’s Momo starred in the MV. Momo played as a ballerina who’ll be torn between best buddies Heechul and Kyung Hoon. The MV’s plot revolves around Heechul liking a girl played by Momo and apparently Momo like his bestfriend Kyung Hoon. Aside from the usual love triangle, the duo made it extraordinary through adding some elements in the MV. They even had action scenes where the two guys tried to save Momo when a bunch of gangsters went to get her. According to Officially K-Music , some renowned comedians like Kang Ho Dong, Lee Sang Min, and Lee Soo Geun even starred in the music video which gave the MV a softer and funnier emotion despite the heavy message of the song itself. The music video stars Twice’s main dancer, Momo, Super Junior’s Hee Chul, Min Kyung Hoon and the rest of “Knowing Brothers” cast. The song “Sweet Dream” has recently gained number one spot on various Korean music charts like Olleh, Soribada, MNET, Genie and Monkey3. According to Allkpop , it is number two in Melon and Bugs. The song is about unrequited love and the music video showed it in a very comical way. The cast of “Knowing Brothers” are all present in the music video. In the music video, Hee Chul likes Momo but Momo like Kyung Hoo. The three are all students wearing uniform. In the music video, Momo was kidnapped by the “Knowing Brothers” cast and was saved by the two after learning martial arts by another “Knowing Brothers” cast. In the end of the music video is a funny plot twist that is shocking but at the same time expected. The song itself is super different from the funny music video. As reported by Allkpop , Kyuhyun’s home agency SM Entertainment has confirmed that the 28-year old singer is indeed working on a new solo album. “Kyuhyun is currently working on a new solo album with the goal of being released this November. He is currently working with Sung Si Kyung who would help him as composer.” SM Entertainment said. Sung Si Kyung is a veteran singer who has produced numerous hits since his debut in 2001 and everyone knows that Kyuhyun is a big fan of the said singer. Super Junior’s Donghae recently released an update through his official Instagram account for his fans, a year after his enlistment in the army. Every diehard ELF would know that Super Junior has only four (4) active members: Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung and Kyuhyun. The rest are currently inactive, with most of them having enlisted for each of their own military services, which is mandatory for males between the ages of 18 and 35. With most of the Super Junior members inactive, one can only imagine the wide gaps that they have left on their fans’ hearts, fans that are dearly missing their idols and are passionately awaiting their return. Some of SM Entertainment’s stars will unite for the agency’s web variety show from its subsidiary company, SM C&C. According to one media news outlet, SM C&C is preparing a web variety show titled Earth Life Report set to air towards the end of March . Earth Life Report will run in a game/quiz show format, where prizes are awarded to the winners. The MC’s will be Super Junior’s Leeteuk, Red Velvet’s Yeri, and TRAX’s Jungmo with EXO as the show’s first guest. The show will broadcast for eight episodes on domestic portal sites, Chinese online websites, and social media. In the meanwhile, several SM artists are currently busy as Red Velvet recently made their comeback with “One of Those Nights” and Super Junior’s Heechul being the new MC for MBC Every1′s Weekly Idol .
Super Junior’s Kim Heechul and EXID’s Hani (Ahn Hee Yeon) are the new MC’s for a variety show. On Thursday, Mar, 17, a broadcast insider revealed to news media outlet My Daily regarding Heechul and Hani being the new MC’s for MBC Every1′s Weekly Idol . “Heechul and Hani have been confirmed as new MCs for ‘Weekly Idol.’ Alongside MC Defconn, there will be three MCs,” said the insider, as reported by Soompi . Last November 2015, Jung Hyung Don had to halt all activities, including his role as MC for the show. With Jung not MC’ing, the show has featured different special MC’s, including Heechul who appeared on two episodes. The insider clearly revealed that Jung has not left the show, and that Hani and Heechul will MC until Jung Hyung Don returns.
