BTS Member Kim Taehyung To Make Acting Debut In Historical Drama 'Hwarang'

The star-studded cast of Hwarang has another celebrity addition. Kim Taehyung, also known as “V,” of male idol group Bangtan Boys (BTS), will make his acting debut in the historical drama “Hwarang: The Beginning.” On Feb. 23, a broadcast insider  confirmed the casting, stating, “V has been confirmed as being cast in the drama. This is his first ever acting project.”  Other stars already confirmed for the show include Park Seo Joon and Go Ara as leads, and ZE:A’s Hyungsik and Shinee’s Minho in other roles. A few well-off and lucky fans are now the proud owners of some of actor Lee Min Ho’s belongings. On Oct. 28, Lee Min Ho participated in a charity event in Guangzhou, China, where he put his suit, scarf, and shoes up for auction. Once the event was over, the actor’s personal belongings were revealed to have sold for 100,000 yuan, or approximately $15,800 USD.  His top three items exceeded the initial asking price, reaching totals of $6,300, $3,150, and $6,460 each. The money was reportedly donated to a school in China run by the multinational South Korean electronics company LG and will be used to pay for the tuition of students in need.
