T-ara's Updates: MBK Entertainment Reveals That The Group's Comeback Album In May Will Be Their Last As 6 Members

Latest updates have revealed that  T-ara’s label, MBK Entertainment has announced that the group’s comeback album, which will debut this May, will probably be their last as 6 members. The report states that the agency revealed that the group’s upcoming album will be their last as 6-member group.  “T-ara plan on making a comeback on May 17. Since their contract is set to expire in May, it will be their last comeback as a full group,” Allkpop reported that MBK Entertainment revealed to news outlets on March 16 (KST). The veteran 2nd generation girl group, T-ara first debuted in 2009 when they established their place in the music industry with hits like “Roly Poly,” “Bo Peep Bo Peep,” “Lovey Dovey,” and many more.
However, it is been reported that the girl group’s final promotions as a group under MBK Entertainment will be their domestic comeback, which is scheduled for May 2017. Their comeback will be followed by several other domestic and overseas comeback activities.   Askkpop also reported that T-ara’s agency, MBK Entertainment has revealed information about the contracts and a possible disbandment  of members of the girl group.  According to the report, the upcoming album of the girl group, which is scheduled for this May, will likely be their last comeback as 6 members, and MBK Entertainment is also reported to have said more on the matter.   The label is reported to have stated that It is too early to use the word “disbandment” as the re-signing of the T-ara girl group is still under negotiation. The label continued to point to the fact that if the members of the girl group cannot stay together, then it would be meaningless to continue using the name “T-ara.”

However, It seems the members of the T-ara girl group have varying contracts with the MBK Entertainment agency, which means, while some members may continue to stay with the agency, others would have to move on. The only way to know what the future holds for the members of the girl group is to sit tight and watch for updates on T-ara’s comeback and member activities.
