'Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization' Announced, New Game To Bring Players Back To Aincrad?

“Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization” has been announced for Playstation 4 and Playstation Vita.
Fans of the “Sword Art Online” franchise are already anticipating the third season of the anime series, but it looks like there is more to look forward to next year. According to Gamezone, Bandai Namco recently announced that “Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization” will be making its way to Sony Playstation 4 and Playstation Vita.

Gematsu also reported on the other details of the game via excerpts from a Dengeki Playstation interview with Bandai Namco producer Yosuke Futami and Aquaria producer Satoshi Hirayae.
According to Futami, the game development began with the concept of Kirito beginning at Level 1 when the beta testers were at the early stages of the Sword Art Online game before its was released.
Hirayae continued saying, “We want people to play in the world of the early days of Sword Art Online and then gradually start to feel like something is off as they progress.”
Players and fans may look at the setting as Aincrad but the developers correct that initial thought saying it is an entirely different world where everything is connected by adjoining land. Take note that Aincrad was a world divided into different layers/floors.
The upcoming game will be focused on the mysterious girl at the beginning of the Playstation 4/ Playstation Vita launch trailer. Futami described her, ”She’s about 14 years old.The heroine is an AI (Artificially Intelligent) character, and that AI will develop as she advntures with Kirito and friends.”
Unfortunately, there are no further details revealed about her.
The “Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization” game will be available in Japan in 2016. There is no announcement on a North American or European release date.
