A new patch for the 3DS version of Super Smash Bros is in production, Nintendo announced on Tuesday, which includes bug and gameplay fixes.
“We are planning to release the next patch (Ver.
1.0.4) within the month,” the official English patch notes from SpotPass mention, Event Hubs reports. “This patch will adjust the game balance by refining the strengths of some fighters.
It also includes various other gameplay fixes.” Rumors on gaming forums have speculated on the likelihood of the new patch, version 1.0.4, improving character features and glitches as well.
Although developers did not directly mention character updates, there was mention of changes in multiplayer features: once the update is applied, gamers will not be ablt to play offline multiplayer with users running older versions, GameSpot reports.
It was recently announced that Super Smash Bros is available to pre-load on the Wii U next-generation console.
This would allow shoppers to pre-purchase versions of the game from the Nintendo eShop.
Nintendo has reported high amounts of pre-orders for the Wii U version of Super Smash Bros, hitting a “record high,” according to IGN .
