'Street Fighter 5' New Character Laura Matsuda Is An Electric Fighter, Two More Characters Left

“Street Fighter 5” new character hails from Brazil.
There was a leak last week about a new character joining the fighters in the game. This week Capcom officially unveiled “Street Fighter 5’s” new character Laura Matsuda at the Brasil Game Show. She is officially part of the newcomers to “Street Fighter” along with Necalli and Rashid.

Matsuda specializes in the martial art of Jiu-Jitsu, as she hails from the home of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and this is a first in the “Street Fighter” game series. According to PC Gamer, she can also harness the power of electricity like fellow Brazilian fighter Blanka.
The official Laura Matsuda trailer was released to preview some of the moves that players can look forward to once the game is comes out. She’s dressed in bright green outfit with her black hair in small braids on one side, but he looks are deceiving as she shows of some pretty killer moves.
“Street Fighter 5’s” newest character also has her own special skills, a V-Skill called Linear Movement and V-Trigger called Spark Show.
According to Eurogamer, the V-Skill Linear Movement is explained that “By holding either back or forward and pressing medium punch + medium kick, Laura moves in the corresponding direction, getting her in and out of the opponent’s range at will. If no direction is held during the V-Skill activation, she will perform an overhead kick.”
The V-Trigger skill, on the other hand, is described “During her electrifying state, Laura’s Thunder Clap projectile flies further, she deals more stun on her attacks and grabs, and moves around further during her Linear Movements.”
Matsuda is the 14th character in the upcoming “Street Fighter 5” game, there are only two more fighters left to be revealed.
