Shawn Mendes Is A TWICE Fanboy? Ludacris, Dakota Fanning, Nina Dobrev Admit to K-pop Love

Has singer-songwriter  Shawn Mendes been struck by the “TT” bug? It appears so as the talented international artist seems to be growing fond of rocking the signature hand gesture for the TWICE hit. According to a report by SBS Pop Asia , fans have noticed that Mendes has been spotted on several occasions breaking out the signature pose from “TT” one of the most successful tracks in TWICE’s TWICEcoaster: Lane 1 album last year. Is Shawn Mendes is a K-pop fan, it will not come as a surprise because Korean artists have been slowly but steadily growing in fame overseas.
As a matter of fact, the MV for “TT” recently reached a milestone 150 million views on youtube as a testament for strong support for K-pop artists the world over. Their “Knock Knock” MV has also broken the record for reaching the 30 million view mark in only six days, which is a feat that even international acts can’t help but admit but admire. The girls are all set to perform in Singapore for the first time next month for their Twiceland: The Opening tour, reported Kpopstarz . Mendes is not the only international artist to admire Kpop artists. A report by  Koreaboo  listed down international stars who are big hallyu fans as well. Among the list is Hollywood star Dakota Fanning, who grabbed an opportunity to have a snap with Girls’ Generation’s YoonA when they caught up with each other at a Chanel fashion show. She also admitted to being a fan of BIG BANG’s G-Dragon. Being one of the pioneers of the Kpop wave, BIG BANG and 2NE1 are two of the groups who are best known internationally. Ludacris said that he listens to the two groups and also likes the music of Jay Park, who incidentally won artist of the year at the recently concluded Korean Music Awards. The Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobres, who will appear for the final episode of The CW show has also shared on social media how she thought that the 2NE1 girls were badass. Co-star Kat Graham echoed her sentiments and said she was a big fan of K-pop too.
