Perhaps the most meaningful show on TV right now, “Shark Tank” is back for its seventh season and the response the entrepreneurs get from the audiences is higher than ever.
According to Crains Detroit , McLary Bros., one of the first to pitch on the Sharks on the seventh season, is getting plenty of calls from left and right wanting to try their product.
According to the website, owner and CEO Jess Sanchez-McClary was astounded with the reception they received as their site traffic increased by as much as 15000%!
“Will your website crash? Will you be able to handle the increase in volume? Will your quality suffer? You have to be prepared,” said venture capitalist Sonali Vijayavargiya
As stated in the website, McLary Bros. is a consumer product that “makes artisanal cocktail mixes using vinegar. Not the vinegar you’re accustomed to but unpasteurized apple cider vinegar that can be flavored with such things as fig leaf, lemon, ginger, beets, rhubarb, pineapple, fennel seed, blood oranges and honey.”
She also said that a $50,000 worth of order is coming in and she couldn’t be more grateful.
“I was a little out of sorts yesterday, to be honest,” she told Crain’s. “It’s been crazy. The last I checked, we had 1,000 orders. They started rolling in Friday night, before the show even ended. Usually, we’ll send out 20 packages a week, between Web orders and a couple of wholesale orders.”
Meanwhile, fans can expect plenty of memorable interaction of Ashton Kutcher with the other Sharks as Robert Hervajec spoke with INC.com to share what transpired during set.
“I’ll never forget Ashton after the first pitch. He looked at the rest of us and said, ‘Whoa, what just happened?’ Everything happens very quickly and nobody waits for you to talk. You’ve just got to go. After the first one he got right into it. He’s a quick learner.”
