The rookie boy group Seventeen has won their first music show award for “Boom Boom”! The boys of Pledis has won the December 15 broadcast of Mnet’s “M!Countdown”. According to Soompi , SEVENTEEN and Jung Seung Hwan were the nominees for this week’s number one spot. Seventeen’s “Boom Boom” was nominated and garnered 6,834 points. Their competitor, Jung Seung Hwan, has garnered only 5,659 points. That ultimately led for SEVENTEEN first win with their latest track “BOOMBOOM”.
Allkpop reported that this is Seventeen’s first win for “Boom Boom” as they had recently only made their comeback. Seventeen members were really happy as they were jumping for joy. Other Seventeen members like Boo Seungkwan, couldn’t hold back their tears. The members, represented by their leader S.coups, thanked their fans for the unending support. They also dedicated their award to their fans, the Carats. The Seventeen members also expressed their gratitude to their parents as well as people in their company, Pledis Entertainment. The boys of Seventeen even bowed to the audience because of so much gratitude and joyfulness. Fans were really happy that the hard work of the boys finally paid off. Thunder performed his solo debut track “Sign” Laboum was also there and they performed “Winter Story” Rookie boy group Up10tion performed “White Night” Solo singer Kim Feel performed his song “Sungbokdung” Jung Seung Hwan performed “The Fool” Rookie groups KNK, Momoland and Pentagon also performed at last night’s MNET “M!countdown” with their songs “U”, “Jjan Koong Kwan” and “Can You Feel It”.
