Over the past few anime seasons, fans may have noticed that Kirito from “Sword Art Online” began popping up in just about every light novel series that became adapted.
Well, it’s not Kirito as much as it is his Japanese voice actor.
Today, extremely popular Japanese voice actor Yoshitsugu Matsuoka was added to the official Japanese voice cast for the “Servamp” anime series. According to reports, Matsuoka will play Belkia, who he previously voiced in the release of the “Servamp” drama CDS.
Anime News Network reports that Yoshitsugu Matsuoka will join the following previously announced Japanese voice cast:
Takuma Terashima as Mahiro Shirota
Yuuki Kaji as Kuro
Hiro Shimono as Misono Arisuin
Kazume Horie as Snow Lily
Ryohei Kumura as Lawless
Nobunaga Shimazaki as Licht Jekylland Todoroki

“Servamp,” which is based on a manga series by Strike Tanaka, is currently being released in North America by Seven Seas. The company describes the series as follows:
“When a stray black cat named Kuro crosses Mahiru Shirota’s path, the high school freshman’s life will never be the same again. Kuro is, in fact, no ordinary feline, but a servamp: a servant vampire.”
It goes on:
“While Mahiru’s personal philosophy is one of non-intervention, he soon becomes embroiled in an ancient, altogether surreal conflict between vampires and humans.
