For the past five years, Samsung has changed the way people see and perceive their smartphones, thanks mainly to its Android flagships. The Galaxy S5 was not that gorgeous in terms of design, but it delivered all of the features when it comes to specs and other functions.
Just like what we know about Samsung, the phone maker will certainly aim to do that and more with the Samsung Galaxy S6. Some rumored specs include a QHD or 2K display (2560 x 1440), 3GB of RAM and a brand new Qualcomm chipset, the Snapdragon 810 that supports 64-bit applications. The new Motorola Droid Turbo could also push the Korean phone maker to include a 21MP primary camera just to remain competitive in other areas aside from its screen, chipset and build. This year, Samsung has also made the big leap into metal smartphones, which would be used as well in upcoming flagships. Other interesting features which are rumored for the Galaxy S6 include a curved display on both sides of the device.
The Galaxy Note Edge was reportedly just a testing ground, which allegedly explains the reason why it would not be made available in most markets. As for the Galaxy S6 which is dubbed Project Zero, it would not get one side curved, but two.
While all these rumors are highly probable, we should definitely take all these news with more than a pinch of salt. We’ll bring you the latest updates about Samsung Galaxy S6 rumors in the coming weeks and months, so stay tuned.
