Here is the comparison of Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 and HTC Desire 816 in terms of its design, camera, hardware, memory, battery and price, according to the report of Phone Arena and The Rem.

Display The Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 offers an LCD display size of 6.0 inches, while the HTC Desire 816 has S-LCD 2 display of 5.5 inches.

Both handsets have the same resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, but have different pixel density, the Mega 2 offers 245 ppi and the Desire 817 has 267 ppi.

Hardware The Mega 2 offers two variants of processor, the first one is the Exynos 4415 quad core 1.5GHz and the Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 quad core 1.2GHz Cortex-A53.

The graphic processors are Adreno 306 and Malie-400.

In comparison, the Desire 816 comes equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8928 system chipset, and powered by a quad core processor which is clocked at 1.6 GHz.

Memory The Mega 2 has an internal memory of 16GB and allows it to be expanded up to 64GB only.

While the Desire 816 offers 8GB of internal memory, but it can be expanded up to 128GB.

Camera The Samsung Galaxy mega 2 offers 8MP rear-facing camera and a 2.1MP on the front camera.

It has LED flash, autofocus, HDR, panorama or touch focus and others.

However, the HTC Desire 816 has 13MP rear shooter with 5MP on the front camera.

The said device offers LED flash, HDR, face detection, smile detection, Geo tagging and others.

Battery and Price The Mega 2 has a bigger battery capacity of 2800 mAh, compared to Desire 816’s 2600 mAh.

The price of HTC Desire 816 costs $450 and the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 is around $620.
