Ronda Rousey Cuts Ties With Coach Edmond Tarverdyan Due To Mom, Concentrates On Next Fight?

Ronda Rousey may be thinking about cutting ties with her long-time coach Edmond Tarverdyan, despite saying on various accounts that her original team is important to her. But with the scathing remark that her mom AnnMaria said about her coach, Ronda Rousey may have to make some hard choices.

But meanwhile, the UFC champion has been focusing on her next fight against Holly Holm. Nothing like the gym to really forget about the problems of everyday life.
According to Fox Sports , Ronda’s mom spoke out about the coach that has been with her daughter from the beginning of her MMA career. She said, “If you read in Ronda’s book… [Tarverdyan] didn’t give her the time of day. And he has had that exact same pattern with many women in the gym and I have seen it with my own eyes, where they train there and it’s basically a waste of their time. And they’re talked to in a way that just makes my jaw drop.”
She added that “Whatever [Ronda] wants to do in her career, that’s her business, but if you’re in a situation where you’re really causing harm to other people by being used as bait to lure people in there, I think somebody needs to speak up. And all I did was say publicly what people have been whispering for years, but no one had the balls to speak up because Edmond is like that gatekeeper to Ronda.”
With a bomb like that dropped on coach Edmond Tarverdyan, Ronda might have to choose between her mom and her coach pretty soon.
Knowing how protective Ronda is of her family, she might choose her mom over anything else. When Justin Bieber was unkind to her younger sister Julia, the UFC champion wasn’t afraid of speaking out, basically giving him a nice little roast for the media.
But she is already busy enough preparing for the next fight against Holly Holm in Australia.
According to For the Win, “Undefeated UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey was originally scheduled to fight former boxer Holly Holm at UFC 195 in January, but UFC president Dana White announced Friday that the bout has been moved to November 14th in Australia.”
Ronda Rousey has risen to such heights in MMA that she has gotten very busy swatting away people. Let’s hope that she won’t ignore comments from her mom!
