Fans certainly have good memories of “Reply 1988” and were sad to see the series end. But they will be glad to know that the friendships formed during filming of the drama remains strong among the cast members. As a matter of fact, cast members Ryu Joon Yeol, Park Bo Gum, Go Kyung Pyo, and Ahn Jae Hong recently had a mini reunion. In an Instagram post shared by Ryu Joon Yeol, he shared that his “Reply 1988” co-stars Park Bo Gum, Go Kyung Pyo, and Ahn Jae Hong recently came to visit his new home to have a housewarming party. The photo shows the quartet wearing big smiles as they sat next to each other, All Kpop reported.
“House’s official photo wall,” Ryu Joon Yeol captioned the black and white photo. Fans who were super happy to see the four “Reply 1988” castmates reunited immediately shared their well wishes on the comment section, praising the actors for maintaining their friendship even after the cameras have stopped rolling. In “Reply 1988,” Ryu Joon Yeol, Park Bo Gum, Go Kyung Pyo, and Ahn Jae Hong play childhood friends who have different personalities from each other. Reviews for the series praised the excellent rapport and camaraderie between the actors, bringing to life the unique story of friendship and growing up and connecting to the audience. The friends have so far enjoyed successful careers since the series ended a year and two months ago. Park Bo Gum, after the series appeared in the drama “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds” and is set to appear as a guest in the “Infinite Challenge” while Ryu Joon Yeol completed the drama “Lucky Romance” and is set to star in the movie “Silence” opposite Park Shin Hye. Go Kyung Pyo will star in tVN’s “Chicago Typewriter” and movie “Night of 7 Years” this year, reported Soompi . Ahn Jae Hong, who recently appeared in “Legend of the Blue Sea” is set to appear in KBS2’s “Third Rate, My Way” and three films.
