Red Velvet, G-Friend, TWICE, & IOI Will Perform Girls' Generation's ‘Into The New World’ At KBS Gayo Festival

KBS will definitely be a festival as the top girl groups will be having a special stage together! Top girl groups Red Velvet, Gfriend, Twice and IOI will be performing Girl’s Generation’s debut song “Into The New World” at KBS Gayo Daejun. According to Soompi , the four trendy girl groups will be performing collaboration at the 2016 KBS Song Festival. Twice and Gfriend has covered another Girl’s Generation song before so this one will not be new. As for IOI, some of them, namely Yoo Yeunjung, their main vocals has covered this song when they were in “Produce 101”. Somi and Jung Chaeyeon has also performed this song but on a different team.

As for Red Velvet, they are with SM Entertainment too and are the hoobaes of Girl’s Generation so this performance will be more meaningful. Allkpop  has reported that KBS has also confirmed a special stage will happen between kpop’s best dancers. It was also announced that BTS’s Jimin and SHINee’s Taemin will be collaborating for a special dance stage. Many impressive collaboration stages are expected to shock viewers of the ‘2016 KBS Gayo Festival’. The 2016 KBS Gayo Festival will be MCed by actor Park Bo Gum and AOA’s Seolhyun. KBS Gayo Festival has already released the event’s A-list lineup of performers that includes BTS, EXO, Uhm Jung Hwa, Taeyeon, and Shinhwa. Fans are really anticipating this special stage as the top girl groups, Red Velvet, Twice, Gfriend and IOI, will be performing together. This is the first time that these four trendy girl groups will do a stage together. Also, it is one of IOI’s last stages. Many of them are expecting a great performance. Many are also hoping that KBS will not be as bad as SGS Gayo Daejun.The most exciting event will be on air on December 29 at 8:30 p.m. Korean time.
