Latest Randy Jackson wife news revealed that the former American Idol judge will be separating from his wife after the latter filed for divorce.

The news surfaced weeks after the Grammy-award-winning producer sold his estate in Tarzana, California for around $1.9 million.

In a report by TMZ.com , Randy Jackson wife filed the divorce files to officially end their marriage after 18 years.

The ground cited was ‘irreconcilable differences.’ Erika also asked for full physical custody and joint legal custody of Jordan, their 17-year-old son.

The couple also has another daughter, Zoe, who is 19 years old.

Other wishes by Erika include reverting to her maiden name, spousal support and payment for attorney’s fees.

Even after they separated, the couple allegedly still shares a home.

Reportedly, the split was amicable and there were no stories of infidelity.

He earned an estimated $5 million each year.

He also earned about $40 million from musical collaborations with world-renowned artists like Whitney Houston, Madonna and Mariah Carey.

Jackson, 58 years old, had a prior marriage to singer-songwriter Elizabeth Jackson but the couple split in 1990.

He has one daughter, Taylor, from the first marriage.

In 1995, the ex-Journey bassist married Erika, then Erika Riker.

According to TMZ, the couple did not sign a prenuptial agreement when they wed in 1995.

Randy Jackson was active on social media site Twitter during the final week of September 2014 but did not comment about his recent marriage issue.

He was spotted visiting the studio as well as partying with other celebrities.
