Rafael Nadal confessed that “life has been fantastic” and immediately got all his fans wondering if that was in reference to his girlfriend Maria francisca Perello.

Seeing how the former world number 1 has been underperforming leading up to French Open 2015, that’s quite a bold statement to make.

But his long-term girlfriend Maria Francisca Perello must be quite pleased with that remark.

According to the Guardian, the former world number 1 said, “Today I am not as good as I was.

I don’t know if tomorrow I am going to be as good as I was.

Life has been fantastic for me – and it still is.” Rafael Nadal changed his tactic for clay court season this year, just before French Open 2015.

Turns out that the former world number 1 will be going back to his old racket in hopes of regaining his old game.

Maybe this was a suggestion from his long-time girlfriend Maria Francisca Perello.

According to Sky Sports, “Rafael Nadal will switch back to his old racquet for the rest of the season in a bid to regain his best form ahead of the French Open.” Nadal, a 14-time Grand Slam champion, changed racquets just before the start of the European clay court season a month ago, normally his most successful part of the year.” The fans are wondering if this racket change will give him some success at Madrid Open this year.

The fact that the former world number 1 said that he is no longer “favorite for anything” means that he knows that French Open 2015 victory is a bit of a stretch.

Sounds like his girlfriend Maria Francisca Perello is doing some work to get his confidence back up.

Tennis Magazine reports that according to an interview the King of Clay gave to La Nacion, he expressed an interest to have kids and start his own family soon.

He said, “I am quite a family person, my education has been towards family.

You never know what will happen in the future, but I understand that I will form a family, have kids, I do not know how much.

I love children, but one does not decide unilaterally, it takes two.

I would like to have more children, but I cannot say whether two, three or four.” Do you think his girlfriend Maria Francisca Perello can inspire him to dominate at French Open 2015?
