PlayStation has announced that “Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness” PS4 and PS Vita game will be released this Sep. 13 in North America. It will be available on Sep. 16 for Europe.
Also, the MAGES gladly confirmed that it will be also available on PC via Stream. This version still doesn’t have an official release date, though.
The “Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness” PS4 and PS Vita game is based on its popular anime series which was broadcast in 2014. The story takes placed in 2113, in which the government can now monitor a person’s mental state and personality.
Because of the technological advancements, they have the ability to know whether the person has the intent of committing a crime or behaving in a criminal manner. Through this, the government has the authority to put a person in prison or to be put to death
“Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness ” PS4 and PS Vita, developed by MAGES, will take place during the first season of the anime. The user can choose to play either as Nadeshiko Kugatachi, a calm inspector whose memories has been wiped out, or as Takuma Tsurugi, an enforcer who’s searching for his missing friend.
As you continue to play, each character needs to choose the best choice for the given situation. Any decisions made may lead to the right course or may lead into something else. In other words, every choice the players take can influence the flow of the game and has the possibility to end the game sooner.
It will be a game to look forward to because it will contain new characters and plotlines. Also, it will be voiced by the original Japanese anime voice cast along with main characters from the first season of the anime.
The NIS America also stated that it will be in limited edition. The package will consist of an art book, the game’s soundtrack, 3 pencil boards and microfiber cloth. It will be for $69.99 for the PlayStation 4 version meanwhile the PlayStation Vita costs 10 bucks less.
