There were plenty of good and bad April fools jokes last week to keep everyone checking their sources before believing any source of news.

Unfortunately, sometimes people are too good at trolling that it’s hard not to believe them.

Recently “Pretty Little Liars” actress Ashley Benson did a little trolling of her own on Instagram, posing in a photo with co-star Tyler Blackburn as though she was announcing a pregnancy.

With a closer look however, later photos suggested it was a joke of some kind, or potentially a teaser for season six of “Pretty Little Liars.” The final result however was the understanding that Benson and Blackburn were just trolling.

E! News was the first to point out the baby bump photos were just a joke, citing an inside source about the situation: “She’s not pregnant on ‘Pretty Little Liars’ and the two stars are just goofing around,” said the source.

The Instagram photos began to cause a frenzy among fans of the show when Benson posted the initial gag photo yesterday with the caption “First Trimester.” This photo was followed up by two more captioned photos of her second and third trimester.

While it was obvious she couldn’t actually be pregnant with three trimesters in hours, some speculated that it could be a teaser of an upcoming plot line.

Thankfully for any fans seriously panicking over this, the photo was revealed to be a joke about having a food baby, probably from eating a heavy meal after a full day of filming.

Whatever the reason for the trolling specifically about babies, it’s good to see Ashley Benson and Tyler Blackburn enjoying each other’s company on-screen as well as off.

“Pretty Little Liars” season six is set to air some time later this year.
