Producer Jerry Bruckheimer tweeted a photo of Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow in the “Pirates of the Caribbean 5” as the injured actor returned filming in Australia with wife Amber Heard showing her support.
On April 21, the mega producer shared a pic on his Twitter showing Captain Jack Sparrow finding himself in a tight situation again as he is tied to the mast by pirates.
He wrote, “Captain Jack is back and we’re not letting him go.” Meanwhile, Johnny Depp arrived in Australia on a private jet with his wife, Amber Heard, on April 21.
The actor was sidelined for weeks after sustaining injury to his right hand outside of the set.
“Johnny Depp looked rock-concert-ready, complete with way too many accessories for a flight to Brisbane, Australia on Tuesday, April 21,” said Us Weekly .
“The Mortdecai star landed at the airport via private jet with Amber Heard, his wife of two months, on his arm.” Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have been hounded by split rumors after they were not seen together for weeks.
The couple immediately went back to work after their wedding in February this year.
The actor worked on “Pirates of the Caribbean 5” while the actress was in London for “The Danish Girl” opposite Oscar winner, Eddie Redmayne.
But the trip showing Johnny Depp and Amber Heard holding hands put those rumors to bed for thetime being.
Meanwhile, Us Weekly couldn’t help but notice Johnny Depp’s many accessories during the flight.
“His array of accessories included not one – but two hoop earrings, black sunglasses, two silver necklaces with dangling charms attached, a small safety pin holding his frayed shirt together, and a red scarf wrapped around his right hand, which he injured while filming scenes for latest installment of Pirates of the Caribbean,” the article noted.
“Pirates of the Caribbean 5” is set for release on July 7, 2017.
