The popular Netflix show, “Orange Is The New Black,” just debuted its season 3 trailer.

The clip, which runs for a little over two minutes, brings viewers up to speed at what the prisoners life has been like after what fans have described as a shocking and dramatic season 2 finale.

Taylor Schilling who plays Piper, along with Emmy winner Uzo Adbuba, who plays Crazy Eyes, plus the other “Orange Is The New Black” characters Red, Taystee, Poussey, Sophia, Daya, Gloria, Big Boo, Pennsatucky and the other women of Litchfield prison are all back.

Even a familiar face has returned to Litchfield.

Alex (Laura Prepon) was not seen during most of last season because she was freed from jail.

But before that season ended, “Orange Is The New Black” showed that Piper was able to find away to get Alex (Laura Prepon) back in Litchfield.

This new trailer confirms that Piper’s scheming worked, as the “Orange Is The New Black” season 3 trailer features a bruised Alex making her way back into the prison.

Aside from Piper and Alex, the Litchfield prisoners are shown in different scenes that range from what fans describe as comedic to dark and dramatic.

While last season saw Red (played by Kate Mulgrew), always in conflict with her former partner Vee (played by Lorraine Toussaint), she is shown to be living life with a different perspective now.

In the clip she tells Piper, “The world is better in black and white,” she says.

“And Red.” On the other hand, the clip shows Crazy Eyes (Uzo Aduba) trying her best to explain that the story she authored is not pornographic, but is actually a tale of love.

“It’s not just sex,” she protests.

“It’s love.

It’s two people connecting.

With four other people and aliens.” Based on Piper Kerman’s memoir “Orange Is The New Black: My Year in a Women’s Prison,” about her jail experiences, the series is a Netflix original.

Fans say the first two seasons had quite a successful run, bagging all the comedy awards at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, while also nabbing several Critics Choice Awards, and total of 10 Emmy nominations which included Outstanding Comedy Series.

“Orange Is The New Black” season 3’s release date on Netflix is June 12.
