It’s official! ‘One Piece’ is entering a new arc entitled “VS Four Emperors,” which will begin when the manga resumes on April 4, 2016; with the four emperors being known as the ultimate opponents of the Strawhats, could this new arc be the finale of the much-watched series?
In its report, the Bitbag said that there are, indeed, talks about “One Piece” creator Eiichiro Oda intending to end the manga with the new “VS Four Emperors” arc.
“The Four Emperors are the ultimate opponents of the Strawhat Pirates. This is like the battle of the century for ‘One Piece,’ and fans have been waiting for this arc to happen,” the Bitbag wrote.
The report added that fans have long waited for this arc and see how the Strawhats will take down the most powerful pirates in the New World namely Shanks, Big Mom, Kaido and Blackbeard.
Accordingly, Ecumenical News said in its report that Chapter 821 could bring in a lot of action, which may include an encounter between Luffy and Kaido.
“A fight between Luffy and Kaido has been hinted at for a while now, and at this point, not getting a pay-off for the build-up would be difficult to imagine,” Ecumenical News wrote. “Even though it seems like Luffy could just as well be thrown into a clash with Big Mom, many fans believe that an encounter with Kaido may take place first.”
The report further said that the fight between Luffy and Kaido is really being built-up more in comparison to a potential bout against Big Mom. And it looks like an encounter with Kaido is inevitable and Luffy vs. Big Mom will have to wait.
It also highlighted that the Strawhats plus Law’s group may also see a big fight in Chapter 821 against Jack and a familiar foe in the person of Doflamingo.
